Design Registration
All pressure vessels to be installed in Western Australia require
registration with either WorkSafe
WA or the Department of Mines and Petroleum (formerly the Department of Industry and Resources Western Australia).
The information for registration is different for the two regulatory authorities:

In accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Regulations 1996, the following is required for registration:
- An Application 100 form which includes a statement signed by the designer to the effect that the person
has complied with the duties of a designer as outlined in the
Regulations. If the equipment is being imported, then the importer
may sign the statement. The form also must be signed by the design verifier.

- Representational drawings of the equipment.
- The above statements and information must be in the English
language.

The following information is
required for registration:
- Detailed drawings of the equipment.
- Design calculations.
- A design verification certificate (supplied by K.J. Beer as part
of our verification service).
