26 API Tanks for Nickel refinery (under contract from a local fabricator)

K.J. Beer were asked to design 26 Tanks (of 12 base designs) to API 650. Deliverables included:

1. Design calculations for 12 general tank designs to API 650 including:
   • Complete analytical calculations per API 650.
   • Determination the effect of local shell stressing from nozzle loads (FEA).
   • Design of anchor supports (FEA).
   • Determine the natural frequencies of baffles under cyclic loading from agitators (FEA).
2. Complete fabrication drawings (design and 'as built').
