Dynamic loading on a Powdered Solids Blow Pot nozzle due to the activation of a Pressure Relief Valve

A design of a replacement Blow Pot was completed in accordance with AS1210-1997. The analysis included dynamic piping analysis of a pressure relief valve and exhaust piping using Caesar II. The local shell stressing due to the transient loads were also determined via FEA.

Deliverables included:

  1. Calculations to AS1210-1997.
  2. Complete fabrication drawings.
