Pressure Relief Manifold - Design

A set of pressure relief manifolds suffered corrosion and had to be replaced. A replacement design was completed in accordance with AS 4041-1998. A pipe stress analysis was been performed in order to determine stresses due to the attached piping under static and dynamic loading (specifically from PRVs)

Deliverables included:

  1. Static and Dynamic Caesar II analyses to determine maximum pipe stresses
  2. Design suggestions inferred from pipe stress results
